You first need to choose the T-shirts you want on the blanket. Keep in mind that you can use both the front and back design of the t-shirt. Once you have selected your t-shirts, you can start your order with us by choosing your blanket size. Our throws use 16 panels, whereas our king blankets use 64 panels. Each quilt panel is made up of one t-shirt. Plus, there are different size quilt panels, including 12-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch.

From there, you can choose a fleece color: navy, gray, red, black, blue, or pink. You also get the option of designing your own – shirt quilts like this cost a little more, but you get more control over the exact layout of the blanket. Otherwise, we are more than happy to create the blanket in a way we think looks best.

Our shirt quilts can also use other items of clothing, including sweatshirts, towels, tank tops, and button-front shirts. However, these can often take a little more time, so you may have to pay a little more.

Don’t worry if you don’t have enough t-shirts to create the entire blanket, as you can use photos to fill in squares. You’ll just need to select the photo square option. That way, your memorial quilt can also include pictures of your loved one. There’s also an option to include

embroidery – perhaps a special message you want to place on the blanket. That could be the name of a loved one you have lost.

Once you’ve selected all your preferences, it’s time to gather the t-shirts. We ask that you cut the seams to separate the front from the back to create two panels and then send the sides you wish to form into the blanket.
